EggTech: Reducing the Carbon Footprint of Calcium Production
EggTech will be launching its first commercial production line in a strategic geographical location which facilitates the reduction of costs and negative environmental impact associated with freight and delivery. As EggTech continues to grow and expand, the fully scalable system will allow for the installation of additional manufacturing lines in freight-logical locations to both where the additional supply/feedstock is derived from, and in proximity to end-users of the material. The EggTech approach ensures all future growth is sustainable and has a minimal impact on the environment.

Traditional Calcium Mining & The Environment
Traditional Calcium production requires the energy-intensive mining of a finite resource. The process from the commencement of mining operations to finished good production results in high Green House Gas emissions and negative environmental effects, such as deforestation and compromised ground & surface water. The remote nature of most limestone deposits requires long distance freight & delivery for final product delivery.
EggTech’s proprietary separation and purification process is aimed at disrupting traditional limestone-based Calcium production through the introduction of a fully sustainable and natural calcium source. EggTech Calcium not only eliminates the need for the energy-intensive process required to extract and process limestone, but also reduces high volumes of landfill waste of a previously discarded by-product material.
